'A staple of our people for feast days is a porridge or pudding made from pease, with maybe a hint of bacon or aurochs-hock. But the pease grow in the fields of Donnvail. Once we traded with Donnvail for such supplies, but now...
'It seems a foolish thing, perhaps, but it might well raise the spirits of our warriors to be able to enjoy this dish before the coming battles. If you could steal away a supply of the pease from the fields around Donnvail, I would be much obliged.'
