Quest NPC Instructions 'I would very much like to see to the matter of slaying the evil worm that took my brother from me, (your name), but time is no longer a concern for him, and Afwald has informed me that other duties have become pressing.
'These past few months, we have been hunting here on behalf of the Elves of Rivendell. It seems that they are preparing for some conflict in secret. I am afraid I know little of what they intend, nor is it my business to know. In any case, the armourers there prize these worm-scales for their resilience and lightness. They cannot compare with a coat of mithril mind you, but they do make a fine undercoat for heavy armours of chain and steel. My brother and I were hunting these worms and collecting their scales when calamity befell us...but nonetheless, if I am to stay in business, I must complete the shipment I promised.
