'Well met in dark times, (your name). It is possible that as you wage war against the Enemy, you will on rare occasion come across an Orc who wields a War-master's Lash -- these lashes are dispensed as marks of high favour by their masters in the black city of Carn Dûm, and the defeat of such an opponent is a victory against their evil schemes.

'Bring any such lashes you find to me, and the Rangers of Esteldín will acknowledge themselves in your debt for such deeds of honour.'
